Pair Discussion by Localized the Context

Building a strong relationship by using method of “good habit for students to have their independent” this ultimately technique helps foster and maintain both student motivation and confidence during the course. Imagine you have mad such a great environment in the classroom by helping students to be in a team. Pair work and group works are working well unless you have already built up some kind of an comfortable feeling classroom. In addition, a localized context of the textbook can help students to develop their confidence when speaking and can help with independent learning skills and their ability to work with others as part of a team. By doing that students will always have their own additional information about the lesson. For example, in Siem Reap, Cambodia the students are enjoying talking with their friend about their life been raised in near the rice-field. They would keep going on and on in the discussion activities.

In some cases, teacher might have to take time to understand of general situation of the daily-day of the students. Also, the culture of living environment. Some students might have his/her own pressure from out side which could lead them hard to express in the classroom. In this point teachers have to be careful with.

When the classroom (students) does not have any doubt with their teacher, but comfortable you will see that the students are motivated because they become active learners and are responsible for their own learning and the learning of others. At the same time, they also become more confident in their abilities because the teacher has set them up with challenging, yet achievable tasks. Confident of an ability is the most effective into a classroom. The students are able to speak up with his or her partner even if you have to change for the new partner. The students will be able to learn from his or her partner as much as they have enjoyed the classroom so does the teacher. Peer teaching thus fosters and maintains both motivation and confidence which establishes a positive learning environment for the students.
